Join Our Team – Supporting Families in Our Community
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Family Support Workers to join our team. We currently have two positions available:

0.8 FTE (7-month Maternity Leave Cover) – with the possibility of extension.

0.6 FTE (13-month Short-Term Contract) – with the potential for extension.
In this role, you will provide vital support to young people aged 0-18 years, helping them navigate challenges and access essential services. Your work will make a real difference in the lives of children and their caregivers.

Your role as a Family Support Worker
As a Family Support Worker, you will provide short term support to young people aged 0-18 years and their families, helping them navigate challenges and access essential services. Your work will make a real difference in their lives and the broader community.
You’ll have the opportunity to:

Provide practical and emotional support to young people and families in need.

Work collaboratively with children, parents, and caregivers to promote well-being.

Connect families with appropriate services and community resources.

Develop and implement tailored support plans.

Maintain accurate records and report on client progress.

What you’ll bring

Relevant Experience: Experience in case management, program delivery, development and evaluation.

Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Teamwork & Adaptability: Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing needs.

Compassionate Approach: A compassionate and client-centred approach.

Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in welfare or related fields or extensive experience working with families with complex needs.

Requirements: A valid driver’s licence and relevant clearances (or willingness to obtain).
