Job Description
Your role
As an Administration trainee you will provide administrative support for Centacare NENW to maintain efficient service delivery. This role will provide general reception duties, whilst you are completing a Certificate III in Business Administration.
Key responsibilities include:
Client & Visitor Support: Greet clients, visitors, young people, families, and carers in a warm, friendly, and professional manner. Respond to phone calls, letters, and general enquiries in a way that reflects the welcoming image of Centacare NENW.
Information & Referral Assistance: Support clients and visitors in accessing relevant information and resources related to Centacare's programs. Where appropriate, assist with referral processes or direct them to other programs or external services.
Reception Area Presentation: Maintain a clean, tidy, and organised front reception area to ensure a professional and welcoming environment at all times.
Data Management: Assist with accurate data entry and reporting for both internal and external systems and portals.
Confidentiality & Privacy: Handle all client files and personal information with the highest standards of confidentiality. Ensure proper preparation, storage, and security of sensitive information at all times.
Training Commitment: Actively work towards completing aCertificate III in Business Administration according to the training schedule provided by an authorised training provider.

Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a range of people from young people to senior staff.
Demonstrated ability to learn new systems and programs.
Provide administrative services in a friendly, efficient and professional manner.
Well-developed liaison, oral and written communication skills.
Competent operation of office equipment including computer, printer, photocopier, fax and scanner
Competent use of computer software programs such as Microsoft Office products.
