Your role as a Case Worker 

As a Case Worker, you’ll support young people at risk of disengagement. You’ll work collaboratively with families and stakeholders to reduce contact with police, increase education/employment participation, and strengthen support networks.

  • Conduct assessments and develop tailored action plans
  • Provide mentoring, advocacy, and one-on-one support
  • Collaborate with families, schools, and community organisations
  • Monitor progress and maintain accurate documentation

Desired Skills and Experience

Essential Criteria

To be successful in this role you will be someone who’s passionate about creating change and walking alongside young people on their journey. To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:

  • Strong knowledge of the Criminal Justice System and how it impacts young people and communities.

  • Proven experience working with young people and Aboriginal communities, building trust and supporting positive outcomes.

  • Case management and risk assessment expertise, with a focus on empowerment and safety.

  • A sound understanding of child protection legislation and how it applies in everyday practice.

  • Current NSW Driver’s Licence
