Your Role

In this role, you’ll support young people aged 12–25 from their first point of contact through to personalised care planning, counselling, and connecting them with the services they need. You’ll be instrumental in helping young people—and their families and carers—feel empowered, heard, and supported every step of the way.

Desired Skills and Experience

Essential Criteria

  • Degree in psychology, social work, counselling, nursing, occupational therapy, or similar, with a minimum of 12months experience.
  • Experience in the delivery or willingness to deliver of both individual and group counselling.
  • Ability to effectively weigh and evaluate personal needs, client needs and the aims and policies of the agency and to respond and negotiate these competing needs as appropriate.
  • Demonstrated experience in management of clinical risk or willingness to learn.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills to effectively develop and maintain positive relationships, networks and therapeutic relationships with young people.
