Job Description
What This Role Involves
We are looking for a Program Manager, for a 12 month fulltime contract. In this role you will lead the delivery of Youth and Wellbeing programs within the Families, Wellbeing and Justice portfolio. You will:
Lead the day to day management of Youth and Wellbeing programs to ensure high quality, client centred service delivery
Recruit, supervise, and support program staff to build a capable and engaged workforce
Monitor program performance, budgets, and contracts, reporting to the Executive Manager
Ensure compliance with funding agreements, legislation, and Centacare policies and procedures
Identify and manage risks associated with program delivery
Support continuous improvement through program review, data analysis, and feedback
Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners and stakeholders
Contribute to program development and organisational planning processes

Desired Skills and Experience
Skills & Experience We’re Looking For
Relevant tertiary qualification in Social Science, Community Services, Management, or related field
Demonstrated experience managing multi-faceted services or programs
Proven ability to lead, supervise, and develop staff
Experience managing budgets, contracts, and funding agreements
Strong knowledge of compliance, risk, and quality frameworks
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Knowledge of relevant legislation and service standards
