Job Description

What This Role Involves
We are looking for a Program Manager, for a 12 month fulltime contract.  In this role you will lead the delivery of Youth and Wellbeing programs within the Families, Wellbeing and Justice portfolio. You will:

  • Lead the day to day management of Youth and Wellbeing programs to ensure high quality, client centred service delivery
  • Recruit, supervise, and support program staff to build a capable and engaged workforce
  • Monitor program performance, budgets, and contracts, reporting to the Executive Manager
  • Ensure compliance with funding agreements, legislation, and Centacare policies and procedures
  • Identify and manage risks associated with program delivery
  • Support continuous improvement through program review, data analysis, and feedback
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners and stakeholders
  • Contribute to program development and organisational planning processes

Desired Skills and Experience

Skills & Experience We’re Looking For

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Social Science, Community Services, Management, or related field
  • Demonstrated experience managing multi-faceted services or programs
  • Proven ability to lead, supervise, and develop staff
  • Experience managing budgets, contracts, and funding agreements
  • Strong knowledge of compliance, risk, and quality frameworks
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and service standards
