Centacare New England North West is seeking four External Committee Members to join one of the following Board Committees:

  • Catholic Culture & Identity (CCI) Committee
  • Finance, Audit & Risk Management (FARM) Committee
  • People, Quality & Safeguarding (PQS) Committee
  • Governance & Remuneration (G&R) Committee

These are exciting opportunities for local professionals who are passionate about contributing to the governance of a well-respected not-for-profit organisation serving communities across the New England North West region.

External Committee Members provide valuable advice, expertise and local perspectives to support effective decision-making, strong governance and positive organisational outcomes. Committee meetings are generally held online and occur approximately 3–6 times per year.

Job Description

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking applications from people who live within the Diocese of Armidale—including Armidale, Tamworth, Inverell, Moree, Narrabri, Gunnedah, Tenterfield and surrounding areas—and who can bring local knowledge, community connections and regional perspectives to one of our committees.

We welcome applications from people with professional knowledge, experience or lived expertise that aligns with the work of one of our committees. You do not need to be a governance expert or have previous board experience. We are committed to supporting and developing Committee Members in governance and board-related responsibilities.
